Service Description

This class is designed to teach some basic concepts of popular piano playing, including creating arrangements and writing songs, chord theory, and performing pop music. This class is great for students who have a little bit of music background and can read notes on the staff. Students who are enrolled in private piano lessons may find this a helpful supplementary course. Class requirements: -Basic understanding of staff reading -Access to a piano or digital piano at home* Class objectives: -Learn basic popular piano technique and theory by arranging pop music on the piano -Write a song using popular chord formulas -Perform one piece in a final class recital (optional) Notes: -If the instructor has an illness or emergency arise, the class will extend an extra week. Students may wish to hold that date as a potential makeup time. -Each class will be recorded and sent via email, so students who are unable to attend a class may still receive the content virtually. -Tuition is non-refundable. *All other books and materials are included in the course fee.
